DELIVERY INFORMATION

At Secure Cycle Store, we aim to make delivery as smooth, transparent and reliable as possible.

Please read the information below carefully to understand delivery options, lead times and responsibilities when receiving goods.

Delivery Lead Times

• Delivery lead times vary depending on the product.
• Made-to-order / Bespoke items have longer lead times. This will be managed by our operations team and you will be notified with an expected delivery time.

Delivery costs to the UK mainland are calculated and displayed at checkout once your delivery address has been entered. For deliveries outside these areas, please contact our sales team before placing your order.

Please note: All deliveries exclude mechanical off-loading unless specifically stated and agreed with our operations team.

Parcel, Pallet & Specialist Deliveries

• Smaller items are shipped via parcel couriers.
• SCS will liaise delivery options with our customers for orders that exceed parcel courier size and weight limits.

Some products require specialist delivery services, which may include:

• Moffett (Truck mounted forklift)
• Hiab (Lorry mounted crane)

Unless explicitly included in your quotation:

• Off-loading is the customer’s responsibility.

If you require specialist off-loading, this can be arranged at an additional cost. Failed deliveries due to a lack of off-loading facilities may incur extra charges. Please inform us in advance if off-loading equipment is not available on site.

Tracking Your Delivery

Once your order is placed, you will receive:

• An order confirmation email.

If you need to:

• Change your delivery address.
• Add special delivery instructions.
• Require an estimated delivery

Please contact us as soon as possible. While we’ll do our best to accommodate requests, changes may not always be possible once dispatch is scheduled.

If delays occur, we will keep you informed and work quickly to resolve any issues.

Seasonal Closures

Our production facility and offices may be closed on bank holidays and for a period over Christmas and New Year, subject to change. These closures may affect delivery and collection dates.

Accessing Your Delivery

Before placing your order, please ensure:

• The delivery address is accessible for large vehicles, if required.
• Any access restrictions, contact details are included in the special delivery instructions at checkout or one of our operations team members have been notified.

Failure to disclose access restrictions may result in delayed or failed delivery charges.

Accepting Your Delivery

You (or a representative) should be present to accept and sign for the delivery.

On arrival:

• Inspect goods before signing.
• Sign the delivery note as “Damaged” or “Unchecked” if applicable.

Refused deliveries or failure to accept goods may result in re-delivery charges.

Preparing for Delivery

Some items are heavy, bulky, or palletised and may require:

• Forklift trucks.
• Additional manpower.

If you anticipate any unloading difficulties, you must notify us during checkout. Additional charges may apply if alternative delivery arrangements are required.
