Jet2.com approached us to replace their old cycle store with a new, secure solution. We provided groundworks and installed a 10-space welded mesh-clad shelter, galvanised and powder-coated in their corporate colours. The shelter includes a deep design, a single access gate with a self-closing mechanism, and a digit combination latch lock for added security. We also powder-coated the Sheffield cycle racks. This secure cycle store installation encourages sustainable commuting and aligns with Jet2.com’s brand identity, providing staff with a safe and convenient bike storage solution.
The Merton mesh secure cycle compound is designed with versatility and security in mind, offering options for either a Sheffield toastrack or semi-vertical bike racks, depending on storage needs. It features a 50mm x 50mm steel frame, fully welded mesh panels, and a no-crawl perimeter for added security. Hot dip galvanised to meet BS EN ISO 1461:1999 standards, it can be surface or root fixed. Various lock options are available, including coded padlocks, keyed alike padlocks, and combination keypads. It also complies with Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM standards.
Sheffield Toastrack features a hoop design that allows two bikes to be securely stored on either side, making it highly efficient for multi-parking. Cyclists can easily secure both the bike frame and wheels to the stand, providing peace of mind when leaving their bikes for extended periods.
