10-Space Canal Curved Bike Storage Shelter Installation

For this project, we delivered a high-quality Canal Curved Bike Shelter designed to provide secure and reliable bicycle parking for up to 10 bikes.

The structure features a galvanised and powder-coated steel frame, offering excellent corrosion resistance and long-term performance, making it perfect for outdoor environments. The shelter is fitted with clear PETG cladding on the rear and sides, providing weather protection while maintaining visibility and a modern aesthetic, which is increasingly important for commercial, workplace and public-sector cycle parking facilities.

To enhance security, the installation includes a double mesh swing gate with a hasp and staple suitable for standard padlocks, helping to prevent unauthorised access and improving overall bike security. Inside the shelter, 5 galvanised Sheffield Stands offer secure and stable parking for up to 10 bicycles, making it a practical solution for staff, students or public users.

The complete Cycle Storage Shelter was supplied in kit form for easy on-site assembly, ensuring a straightforward installation process and minimal disruption to the client’s location.

This project demonstrates our ability to deliver durable, attractive, and secure cycle storage solutions tailored to a wide range of environments.

Working in partnership with Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to complete a bike shelter installation. We delivered a series of high-quality cycle storage solutions designed to promote sustainable travel and provide secure facilities for staff and visitors.

As part of the project, our team designed and installed a Mesh-Clad Cycle Store fitted with Semi-Vertical Cycle Racks, each offering three locking points to maximise security. Within the allocated footprint, we successfully accommodated 22 secure cycle parking spaces, ensuring efficient use of the available area without compromising accessibility.

We installed a Public Bike Repair Stand equipped with an integrated pump, creating a practical and user-friendly cycle hub for daily commuters. The mesh-clad shelter is both galvanised and powder coated, delivering long-lasting durability while allowing natural light to pass through to adjacent building windows, maintaining an attractive and unobtrusive appearance.

For added safety and convenience, a solar-powered PIR LED light was fitted to improve visibility during low-light conditions, enhancing both security and user confidence.

This project demonstrates our ability to provide robust, visually appealing and space-efficient cycle storage solutions, that support organisations in encouraging greener, more sustainable transport options with added security.

We are thrilled to be working with Esh Construction on one of their latest projects, delivering new affordable homes on site in Middlesbrough. For this development, we supplied and installed TC2 Thermo Timber Clad Cycle Stores, following the success of a similar installation earlier this year on another Esh Construction sites.

The project features two cycle stores, each accommodating up to 16 bicycles. The units are finished with a galvanised frame and thermo timber cladding, equipped with digital combination locks and Sheffield cycle stands for secure and functional storage.

The TC2 Thermo Timber Clad Cycle Shelter is not only practical but also an aesthetically pleasing solution, perfectly complementing any modern development requiring high-quality cycle storage.

Waddesdon Manor is managed by the Rothschild Foundation, which operates as a charitable trust on behalf of the National Trust. We engaged in discussions with the Rothschild Foundation to explore secure cycle storage solutions for their team, while ensuring the design aligned with the surrounding architecture and country aesthetics. The final design features a fully galvanised and powder-coated steel frame, complemented by painted timber hit-and-miss slats. Additionally, we incorporated galvanised integral Sheffield stands for the cycle racks, equipped with swing gates and padlocks for secure access control. Three of these stores have been successfully installed across the 6,000-acre estate.

Liverpool Dock Cycle Shelter

We were pleased to supply Cargill PLC with another 12-space Greasby Cycle Shelter at their Gladstone Dock site, alongside the working quay. Following the installation of a similar shelter 12 months ago, this new facility blends seamlessly with the architecture while maintaining the area’s visual appeal. The highly visible design enhances security, with bikes in full view of the surrounding area, deterring theft. The secure shelter, equipped with a digit combination lock and Semi-Vertical Racks, encourages more staff to cycle to work, promoting sustainable commuting.

Carney’s Community is a charity that relies on donations and grants to fund its vital work. They provide support and resources to help young people and vulnerable individuals improve their lives through various programs, including physical activities, mentoring, and community projects.

We had the pleasure of working with Carney Community to supply and install a 6-space Bike Hangar, custom-painted to match their chosen colours. The community worked tirelessly to secure funding and raise money for the project, ensuring that when children arrive at the centre, they have a safe and secure place to store their bikes. This initiative not only enhances the safety of their bicycles but also encourages cycling as a healthy and eco-friendly mode of transport for the local kids.

Jet2.com approached us to replace their old cycle store with a new, secure solution. We provided groundworks and installed a 10-space welded mesh-clad shelter, galvanised and powder-coated in their corporate colours. The shelter includes a deep design, a single access gate with a self-closing mechanism, and a digit combination latch lock for added security. We also powder-coated the Sheffield cycle racks. This secure cycle store installation encourages sustainable commuting and aligns with Jet2.com’s brand identity, providing staff with a safe and convenient bike storage solution.

We have had the opportunity to work with St Modwen Homes, supplying a bespoke combination bin and cycle store for their developments. The solution included a timber-clad, 8-space cycle store designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding architecture, while providing secure and practical storage for residents.

This custom-built unit effectively meets the needs of modern residential communities, offering both waste management and secure cycling facilities in one space-efficient design. Our collaboration with St Modwen Homes highlights our commitment to delivering high-quality, functional, and aesthetic solutions tailored to our clients’ specific requirements.

1000 Lakeside North Harbour, a landmark office complex in Portsmouth, spans over 250,000 square feet office space. The property, known for its modern amenities, faced an issue with its aging bike shelters. The management team reached out to us to address the problem.

Our assignment involved removing the outdated shelters and installing new ones, while retaining the existing bike racks. This allowed us to enhance the facility without disrupting current infrastructure. Additionally, we replaced a weathered bike repair stand with one of our high-quality models.

By upgrading these amenities, we provided the staff with secure and user-friendly bike storage and maintenance facilities. This improvement significantly enhanced the business complex’s end-of-trip facilities (ETOF), demonstrating our commitment to creating functional and convenient solutions.

Great job done from ordering, advice, delivery and construction. Two man crew worked solidly from 7 am to 1pm, refused all offers of coffee and got the bike shelter built despite high winds and rain. Also dismantled our old bike rack.
